Abẹ̀ ṣè mírìn, abẹ̀ pàní lọ́wọ́

Èjì ilèbè kò ṣe dí péfọ̀n

Adífá Ẹrẹ tí ti n jẹ ọmọ aráyé

Adífá fún Òrúnmìlà, baba ló ń jẹ èrè

Wọ́n kì ó kára n’lé ẹbọ ní kí ó má múṣé

Ó ti pé t’Ẹrẹ́ ti ń jẹ wa o

Àwa náà ò sì wá jẹ èrè

English Translation:

Improper handling of a knife leads to injury

Even two dull blades cannot pierce through a thick hide

Ifá was cast for Ere, who had been consuming human wealth

Ifá was also cast for Òrúnmìlà, the one who deserves the profit

They were advised to make ẹbọ so it would not be in vain

For a long time, Ere had been consuming what belonged to us

Now, it is our turn to enjoy the profit
